Have to make some plaques for the VFW event. 1st test run to see what the V-Carve program can really do. 5 hours of fighting with the software... 7 minutes to actually run it LOL. Pirate projects coming...someday... Attachments:

The King's man plaque is cut about 1/100th of an inch too deep. Shows how sensitive the program is to depth. Also have to make sure all four corners are the same height to within .005 inch. $40 flycutter bit will be a good investment here. No more leveling each corner with paper shims to reach specs.

A few more tests. The BC logo is 2" x 1 5/8". Beer house sign, 8". The extreme closeup shows how much detail change there is with a .005" Z axis difference. |
