I love a good woodworker who recycles scrap.
I used to make Altar tables and other furniture from scraps I found in the dumpsters of furniture shops.
I will happily take whatever scraps you can find for my own projects, one of which will be chairs and tables for events.

You decide how big and deep and I can jig it up. Also built a jig fer accurate drilling 'o the cross holes.

Finally gettin around to the brass work. Wanted to use a 3/16ths brass cotter pin but they was waay past stupid expensive. Went with brass rod silver soldered to brass nuts. Someday the project will get finished. Attachments:

Had a 15' clump of Mexican fencepost cactus go belly up. The root ball came up in several good sized planks with some neat looking grain in it. Zero info on the web about the ball being used for woodworking. Will need to let it age and dry, see if it's hard and dense enough for craftwork. Attachments:
