When this current plague is over, I plan to take a few classes in 3D printing with the intent of making coins. Some for my Geocache Team "Tucson Pagan Paddlers", some for my kayak group of the same name, some for business (card) coins becuase, being a nerd, I think handing out a coin the cooler than handing out a paper card. I was also thinking of making coins for the Fleet. The Obverse being the fleet insignia or image, the reverse being the fleet name and contact info. I will be buying the 3D printer and make them for free. We can have a small chest filled with these coins to hand out to people interested in joining. The idea is still in the planning stages so need designs and such. Plus someone versed in computers and 3d to do the program that I can upload onto an SD card to pop into the Printer. Now I have done this with wooden coins and a rubber stamp to use for Geocaching and kayaking and these coins went over well so the next stage is laser-cut wood coins or 3d printed coins. Thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

Iwas out looking for some steel for a box I wanted to build and found a supply of cannonballs! 4" & 2". $1.25p# so I spent $12 and got one of each. IF I ever get notified of the next event, I will bring them along. Plus the grenades I made from a rum drink<g>.
